NetRelay® is an database independet and cross-plattform Java Application Server automating all processes between web clients, web servers and databases. Being client-capable, NetRelay can manage various databases at the same time. Logic (Java) and visual presentation (HTML) are strictly seperated from eachother. NetRelay®s usage of state-of-the-art technologies and standards guarantees peace of mind and investment protection.
NetRelay® manages the flexible allocation of access rights for users of all database contents. Databases are easily structured. Via a comfortably to use editor database management is easily done without any expert knowledge. the navigation can be dynamically extended and changing the design can be done online at any time.
NetRelay® supports software modularisation and the external distribution of development tasks in a very special way. A supplied library (TAG-library) provides all the necessary functions for developing database-driven websites. All functions are fully configurable and can be combined in any possible way making the development of software solutions time and cost efficient. Because NetRelay supplies all needed automatisms, application developers can focus on their core competencies. The centralised template editor creates HTML templates online, so developers with an expert knowledge in object orientated programming languages like C++ are not necessarly needed anymore.
Furthermore NetRelay® comes with an open, well-documented interface for Java Developers that makes it easy to extend the supplied library. On top, talented developers can announce, offer or exchange their own developed TAGS via the integrated marketplace.
